Founded in 2015 by John Rapchinski, CEO of Fidato Partners, Women in Tech is a Philadelphia-based organization that promotes the advancement of women in technology through education on emerging technology trends and issues, career development, and networking. Women in Tech creates an opportunity to learn, lead and connect with current and future leaders in technology in a fun and inclusive environment.
John’s initiative behind Women in Tech was a direct result of clients asking for more diversity in their technology leadership teams and advisors. John quickly moved to help clients such as Campbells Soup, Dupont and along the way developed the idea of a professional organization focused on the growth and success of women in technology. In 2015, John appointed Stephanie Cramp to build Women in Tech (formerly Women in IT) and provide an inclusive forum for women to grow and be successful in their technology careers.
To date, Women in Tech has served more than 800 professionals, many who have made significant connections on both a personal and professional basis.
